Donald Rumsfeld: "The Psychological Patterns Are Wearing Off..."

"Shocking excerpts of confidential recordings recently released under the Freedom of Information Act feature former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld talking with top military analysts about how a flagging Neo-Con political agenda could be successfully restored with the aid of another terrorist attack on America. The tape also includes a conversation where Rumsfeld and the military analysts agree on the possible necessity of installing a brutal dictator in Iraq to oversee U.S. interests.

The tapes were released as part of the investigation into the Pentagon's "message force multipliers" program in which top military analysts were hired to propagandize for the Iraq war in the corporate media. In attendance at the valedictory luncheon Rumsfeld hosted on December 12, 2006 were David L. Grange, Donald W. Sheppard, James Marks, Rick Francona, Wayne Downing, and Robert H. Scales, Jr. among others.

The most extraordinary exchange takes place when Lt. Gen. Michael DeLong bemoans shrinking political support for Neo-Con war plans on Capitol Hill and suggests that sympathy for the Bush administration's agenda will only be achieved after a new terror attack. Rumsfeld agrees that the psychological impact of 9/11 is wearing off and the "behavior pattern" of citizens in both the U.S. and Europe suggests that they are unconcerned about the threat of terror:

DELONG: "Politically, what are the challenges because you're not going to have a lot of sympathetic ears up there until it [a terror attack] happens.

RUMSFELD: That's what I was just going to say. This President's pretty much a victim of success. We haven't had an attack in five years. The perception of the threat is so low in this society that it's not surprising that the behavior pattern reflects a low threat assessment. The same thing's in Europe, there's a low threat perception. The correction for that, I suppose, is an attack. And when that happens, then everyone gets energized for another [inaudible] and it's a shame we don't have the maturity to recognize the seriousness of the threats...the lethality, the carnage, that can be imposed on our society is so real and so present and so serious that you'd think we'd be able to understand it, but as a society, the longer you get away from 9/11, the less...the less..."

VIOLETPLANET SAYS: Notice the reverse psychology in his choice of words and phrasing. He uses negative words for positive actions and positive words for negative actions. He's one slick, sick mad-hatter.

well that should be just the evidence we need to indict Rumsfeld et al both here in the U.S. and under international law. WTF are we waiting for? Do they really want us to march on D.C. and kick their asses?

I am outraged by this! Where is the outrage in this country? WTF are americans doing??? Does anyone give a damn anymore?

First chance I have, I am out of this country...FOR GOOD.

So what's stopping you from leaving? Buhbye now... buhbye...buhbye...

This is proof of nothing except that Rumsfeld saw 9/11 as an opportunity, and that he is willing to make personal gains off of others misery. It's still supposition that he, or any other Bushies were involved in 9/11. The truth will come out, but it will take a solid Democratic majority in both houses and he White House to get the facts exposed. Even then, there's no guarantee that our elected officials will have the stomach for taking legal action, or even revealing the whole truth to the citizens who hired them to represent them.

The federal government has grown too large and powerful for the citizens to control. And only the citizens working collectively can force our officials to change.

Writing comments on the internet won't do it. You must write letters, make phone calls, and go see your congressmen face to face. You must as many others as possible to do the same thing. there is strength in numbers, so organize a movement and apply pressure where it will do some good.

Otherwise, you might as well leave, because if your not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem!!

Tired of the noise... Nice going, your answer to anonymous looks like you'd rather make an example of him than set an example for him. Ridicule of others with the same problems or frustrations as you only serves to divide us when we need to come together. Some people are leaders and some are followers, you, I believe see yourself as a leader however I suggest strongly that you work on your people skills.

So what is the public waiting for?
There is your "WaterGate"!
Arrest Rumsfeld for encouraging terrorism on American citizens!
He has proven himself a traitor.

If there is another fake terrorist attack in this country, EVERYONE will know who is responsible.

This will dissapate just like the nixon foul smell and lost HEHE tapes, just watch the money trail and the dead bodies of ANY attempted truth tellers. Oboma said there will be some truth telling, OH, well WHEN? These animals can and will do it again and again if they please, just ask the Kennedy family if they think this scum can get away clean again!

I'm outraged at the public's lack of concern also.
But the excuse I'm given most often is that the proof of 9/11 complicity comes from the internet so it can't be true.
Because anything can be said on the internet.
Pod people, all of them.

"then everyone gets energized for another [inaudible]"

Rumsfield is one sick nutter and his Neo-Con buddies. He is basically advocating terrorism in pursuit of global and population control. Rumsfield, who fraudulenty gave the word Sacharin by changing the boss at the FDA in order to make sure it was legalised, despite health concerns ought to be taken out and shot along with Kissinger and Bush too.

How many times have we heard, "It's not IF only a matter of WHEN there will be another attack."
We have been programmed to expect it.
We have been programmed to accept that the government will be there to deal with it.
David Icke was/is right.
So is Alex Jones.

Well, it may be no better than supporting psychological evidence in the case of any trial or assessment of the man.

You write what you know, you speak what you think. It takes real professionalism to dissemble safely at a public level. Rumsfeld is a liability - he's starting to wander a bit. His language is indeed telling. It's very likely quite close to an example of the kind of talk he might use to encourage aspiring underlings to...do...things.

Funky stuff. Clumsy old Machiavellians. We don't have to stand for such pitiful unsubtlety in our leadership. More responsive and complex individuals and structures are needed.

We are farmed populations, just as we farm the land. It's a more complex business, but essentialy the same thing. Our farming techniques are flawed. Just as forcing crops from the land is a long-term dead-ender and short-term unbeatable (just ask any agrarian population what agriculturalists are capable of), so our social and technological farming methods are flawed but overpowering.

Cooperation with the planet's biome and with citizen populations is essential. It's possible to get fired from Earth's top job. A few cataclysmic weather changes and we're gone, even as extremely complex gene interactions start rats and crows down the road to using their hands and eyes to do whatever it is we're doing here.

My suspicion is that we're inventing our successors. If we fail, the job will be taken on by another species.

Just think, if all those missiles we've rained down upon each other since the invention of the spearchucker were just a path leading to targetting systems smart enough to enjoy the sunset and debate the morality of conflict themselves.

Wouldn't that make it all worth it? Every birth has pain, after all. Let's just hope it's not one of those things where the millions of tiny (transbiological) babies eat the mother, like with spiders or whatever.

Waiting for a silver dawn,
Lord Reptor.

P.S. Remember, folks, if you see a U.F.O., it was a)designed in Germany, b)made in Japan, and c) (if it crashes) piloted by an American ripped to the tits on military combat drugs. All part of the last harvest our farmers scythed off us last time. Wonder what we've grown them this time? Nanobiomechanoid plagues and thinking machines? I sort of hope so and sort of don't.

I suggest you go to the website www.unitedstatesgovernment.net/homelandsecurity.htm for a peek-see at what these malevolent demons have in store for us. Think the Vietnam war and Iraq were/are just "anomolies"?
On another note, did you hear that Palin and Princess Diana were related and that Obama and Dick Cheney are also related by blood? Kinda makes David Icke seem a little bit less flaky in his theories, huh?

mrfixdit... Anonymous says he's upset because Americans aren't doing anything so he's leaving. My point to him is that HE should be doing something, instead of waiting for everyone else to. I followed that up with examples, and then explained that if he isn't willing to work for the actions and changes he seeks, then he might as well go through with his plans to leave.

His criticism of all other Americans shows he needs to take a leadership role, or just shut up. That may be blunt, but his attitude and inaction while waiting for others to speak up when he won't is exactly what has allowed the last 8 years to happen as they have. Many Americans have spoken out, complained, tried to rally others to get involved, and have been left hanging in the wind, having their patriotism questioned, and their lives and jobs imperilled. Where was Anonymous when those people were trying to hold our leaders accountable??? Was he in the streets, at rallys, passing out fliers, writing calling and visiting his Congress critters??? Or was he sitting on his ass in front of a computor complaining to no one about what everyone else wasn't doing?

As I said, if he's not willing to work for the changes and governmental accountability he demands, then he might as well leave, because if your not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem!!

I remember it coming out in the alternative media now when he said that. So much BS has surfaced since then that I find it impossible to remember all of the details.

In light of the recent "prophetic" warnings by Biden and others who say the new President will be "tested" I expect yet another "new Pearl Harbor".

It is worrisome to note the revelations of the closed session of Congress last March combined with the video footage of the underground cities deep inside granite mountains the government has prepared for itself. I can't help but think they are preparing for a nuclear attack on US soil. I pray I am wrong.
